This is a kind of plastic beads with good ion exchange capacity, stable temperature. When soaked in water, these substances absorb the cation of dissolved salts on the surface of the grain and release the equivalent amount of cation to the water. VAIAK5000 includes 4 stages, recirculated:

• Soft water softening column contains cationic particles covered by a layer of sodium ion. When hard water flows through, these particles act as a magnet, sucking all the hard ions that displace water with sodium ions.
• The ion exchange resin particles are then saturated with mineral ions and need to discharge and recharge. This regeneration process is controlled by the automatic valve of the filter column system.
• At this stage, the reconstituted salt will be pushed up by the booster pump to the crude filter column, rinsing out saturated cationic particles of water hardening ions.
• The wastewater then contains ions and salt water is released. Recycled plastic particles are ready for the new processing.
